In 2009, one of Chris' many images from Albania won a competition in Practical Photography magazine. The image of rusting Albanian submarines shown in the Albania section of the Travel gallery was taken at a navy base near Vlora using a Bronica ETRSi medium-format camera and Kodak Ektachrome film.
Throughout 2009 and into 2010 Chris has contributed regularly to "Herefordshire Life" - a regional lifestyle magazine in the Archant Life family covering Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and Powys. Many of his features and pictures can be read on line - see the links section of this website. Chris' pictures have been used on the cover of the magazine - How Caple gardens in November 2009 and boats on Llangorse lake in July 2010.
